Waterschap De Dommel: “At NGU Business we always know where we stand”

For more than 4 years already we've been working intensively with Waterschap De Dommel. In 2020 they asked us if we could repair business phones. Since 2023 we have also become their partner by the purchase of business phones. Why are they a client of NGU for many years already? De Dommel water board works every day to maintain clean and sufficient water supplies and protects Central Brabant against flooding. During this important process, it’s possible that a phone or iPad breaks. “Think about damage to the screen, charging port that doesn’t work anymore or has to be changed”, says Yvonne. These problems need to be sorted out quickly and skillfully. With this, they put their trust in NGU Business because their headquarters were located relatively closeby.

Portal for the repair of business phones

NGU Business has a special portal where clients can register repairs to their business phones. “I have to be honest that at first I didn’t think it was very insightful”, said Yvonne. “Luckily we could speak about it and now the portal is clear and transparent. You register a repair, and then you clearly see when it will be worked on and be sent back.” Clients can always contact us if something within the portal is not clear. “It’s nice that there’s that possibility, after our meeting there wasn’t anymore issues. With every repair I know where we stand. Afterwards we never get any extra expenses, that sort of stuff is all talked about beforehand.” In the meantime Waterschap De Dommel grew internally and added extra colleagues. These colleagues needed to of course receive quality smartphones. Although buying the desired phone turned out to be harder than expected.

Quick purchase of a business phone

The supplier of Waterschap De Dommel appeared to not be able to provide the needed phones. “All colleagues have a Samsung Galaxy A52. We think it’s important that everyone uses the same smartphone, because then we can answer questions about the use of the phone much quicker. It would cost a lot of time if we constantly had to research how each model differs. For example, the updates are always the same” , explained Yvonne. A clear wish, where NGU Business could help out. “With the repaurs we already noticed that the lines were short”, said Yvonne. “If there was ever a problem, I just had to call. For the purchase of business phones we decided not to do any research in terms of other partners. The purchases were done quickly by NGU Business.”

Direct contact with specialists

Waterschap De Dommel even took out 75 new devices to be used. To make sure that they would be able to enjoy the smartphones for a while, we also offered several accessories such as screen protectors. “We are happy that we can once again make use of the Samsung Galaxy A52”, said Yvonne. “Should there be a need for repairs, then we’ll always knock at the door of NGU Business. I wouldn’t know why that would change. At NGU Business you always have direct contact, you don’t have to call a random number and then be handed over to someone else.
