What should your CV contain?

Time to make your CV. But what should it contain and how do you make a good CV? Even if you don’t have a lot of experience, you should always make a CV, with this we can still get a good image of who you are as a person! A CV must always have: contact information, a small section about yourself, work experience, education, skills and qualities.

CV with a photo?

We always say yes! You can surely be better remembered if you have been seen? So, a simple portrait photo in the daylight with a slight smile is always good.

Spelling errors in your CV or motivation letter are not professional, make sure to check via Word to avoid this. Furthermore, long pieces of text or descriptions are distracting. Keep this short, but clear!

Motivation letter structure

Begin your motivation letter with a salutation. Find out who you are writing to and make sure to directly write the letter to them. Open the first paragraph of your letter with an opening sentence that will catch our attention! In the next paragraphs, write something about yourself. About who you are, what you do, what you’re good at and why you are a good fit for this job. But also don’t forget to write about what you still want to improve and learn. In the conclusion, make sure to write that you can explain your motivation further in a meeting.
