What should go in your CV?

Time to make your CV. But what should be included and how do you make a good CV? Even if you might not have a lot of experience you should still make a CV, because that way we still get a good picture of who you are! A CV must always include these parts: contact information, a bit about yourself, work experience, education, skills and characteristics.

CV with a photo?

We always say do it! It is much easier to remember someone if you see a picture. For us it’s also the same situation, a simple portrait photo with you smiling in the daylight is always good.

Spelling mistakes in your CV and motivation letter are never helpful, check these through word to prevent mistakes. In addition, long texts or descriptions are distracting and unneeded. Keep your text short but clear!

Cover letter structure

Begin your cover letter with a salutation. Search up who will receive the letter and talk directly to them. Open the first paragraph of your letter with a sentence that will make us enthousiastic about you as a person and will catch our attention! In the next paragraphs try to tell us a little bit about yourself. Who you are, what you do, what you’re good at and why you are the right candidate for the job. Also try to speak about things you would like to improve on and learn in the future. In the conclusion you should say that you are prepared to clarify this cover letter in a meeting with us.
